53 Tua Rita Redigaffi – 2011
It has been some time since 2000, when Robert Parker awarded 100/100 to Redigaffi, the wine born of Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisto’s love for the land and wine. Obtained exclusively from Upper Maremma-grown merlot grapes, Redigaffi continues to be a paragon of Italian excellence. The 2011 vintage presents intense aromas of red fruit preserves complemented by a suggestion of citrus. Warm and caressingly soft in the mouth, Redigaffi 2011 is also gratifyingly long-lingering.

E’ passato un po’ di tempo da quando Robert Parker, nel 2000, assegnò un 100/100 al Redigaffi, figlio dell’amore per la terra e il vino di Rita Tua e Virgilio Bisti. Quel vino, fatto esclusivamente con uve merlot nell’Alta Maremma, è rimasto una bandiera dell’eccellenza italiana. L’annata 2011 ha profumi intensi di frutta rossa in confettura, ma anche una nota agrumata. Al palato è caldo, morbido e ha una bellissima persistenza.
